On your questions on page 7, I have the following thoughts: 8(a) Who was the attorney who signed t e document? We've received a cleaner copy from Baron & Budd. The lawyer's name is Jeffrey J. Bair. Note, however, that there is no discernable signature, leaving open the argument that this was just a draft that was never implemented. 8 (b) Who was the Manager of Corporate Industrial Hygiene Environmental Affairs who signed the document? C. W. Bickerstaff. There are no entries regarding him in the database to date. However, I believe his name came up at the Walsh deposition, so we will probably have information later this week when the deposition is returned by the paralegal summarizing it. 8(c) What is the significance of the code at the bottom of the page "4832U/1 through 4832U/22?" The "jl" through "/22" portion corresponds to the page number of the document. The "4832U" portion of the code and placement of it in a footer on each page followed by the page number is consistent with the computer automatic filenaming conventions for a Wang Corp. dedicated word processor that was popular in large offices during the 1980s. The "U" is probably a coding for a particular typist or computer. Because the Wang filenaming convention is sequential rather than being indicative of subject matter, I doubt whether the computer filename is particularly useful. However, it could be useful since some Wang|setups included a sort of macro that printed the original copy, then printed another copy of the last page with document|routing and approval information. You've probably seen this type of tihing on government documents. EPA in particular is|rather sloppy about leaving the routing and approval information generated by their Wang system at the end of documents.
