No. 192468 Requisites to be complied with, as fixed in the Official Action: a) File a new set of claims in order to recite the title of the invention at the heading of each claim. b) Delte claim 2 because it lacks unity of invention. c) Delete method claims because they lack no_velty. K dD Lie.1..' i o "COM MEN T S " H. F According to mexican practice, a main claim should be drafted as follows: 1st) Title of the invention; 2nd) Field in general or prior art set forth in the manner of an introduction; 3rd) Phrase "characterized by" or "characterized in that" which separates novel from prior art, and ; 4th) Novelty of the inven tion (nature of the improvements). In regard with the second requirement, the uses or applica tions of an apparatus, device or equipment are non-protectable under Mexican Practice, therefore, please authorize us to delete claim 2. The examiner is rejecting method claims because he considers that this method of grinding Tio2 pigment solids is not a novel method moreover, it is merely the use of the mill in the grinding of Ti02 pigment solids, so please authorize us to delete these claims. If the basic patent has been issued, please let us have a simple copy of same in order to file it at the Mexican Patent Office, because the Examiners give too much weight to patents granted in the country of origin. In absence of your instructions, we will apply for an extension of term. N36765.01 DU P05 0302042
