Mr. Robinson will assume his new position on January 1, 1972, replacing John L. Kimberley who is retiring after 8 years in this position at LXA and 18 years at ZI. The Lead Industries Aeeociation (LIA) and Zinc Institute (ZI) are both headquartered in Mew York City. Their supporting membership includes the major producers of lead and sine in the United States, Canada and several foreign countries. Smith as Secretary and Manager of the Association effective today. The supporting membership of the Association includes the major producers of lead in the United states, Canada and several foreign countries. Mr. Smith replaces Mr. David M. Borcina who has retired from the Association after 37 years because of ill health. Mr. Smith has been with IXA since 1941, having joined the Association as a member of the technical marketing staff.
