" My family and others in NYS have suffered over 8 years from INDOOR wood boilers. NYSDEC shuts down Outdoor boilers but refuses to shut down indoor boilers. Then NYSDEC staff turns around and tells the polluter to go with a Indoor boiler. This was documented in a central NY Administrative Law hearing. I think this Part 211.1 might be part of a SIP, that outlines control strategies to reduce air pollution in nonattainment areas sent to the EPA. If it is then the EPA can force them to enforce it. I have attached a picture of my neighbors indoor wood boiler. I am retired and cant afford a private nuisance suit .
