"Muller, Kit" <kmuller@blm.gov>, Jeremy Kruger <jkruger@blm.gov> The Emission Inventory Toolkit is a web based application for developing emissions inventories and conducting project-level impacts analysis. It provides a consistent BLM methodology for calculating emissions from criteria pollutants, hazardous air pollutants and greenhouse gases. It also has the capability to store emissions inventories from various projects so that cumulative emissions can be assessed and has a modeling component that can produce results for near field impacts analysis. The toolkit also includes a library where documents and reports can be stored. The toolkit will be useful in streamlining air analyses for planning activities including for NEPA & General Conformity requirements and in showing whether air quality standards or management goals are currently being met. Kit mentioned that we may need to include mention of the various tools we have available (especially those we are actively working on or developing) for considering GHGs. Can you provide (by COB Wednesday) a quick couple of sentences that describe what the Air Resources Toolkit will provide? Thank you!
