In our opinion, there are strong technical, scientific, socio-economic and regulatory reasons that would justify an exemption of these chemicals Fluoropolymers (including fluoroelastomers) Fluoroether lubricants (perfluoropolyethers -- PFPE) Fluorocarbon refrigerants (F-gases) from the PFAS REACH restriction when used in the monitoring and control equipment and equipment for HVACR. We have summarized our rationale for this request, acknowledging that we intend to provide further details during the Public Consultation.
