Patterson of our company has asked me to reply for him in this instance. Reichhold has been involved in the use and sale of Methanol since 1957, and in searching our records we cannot find any instance wherein Reichhold was involved with the Food indus try in the supply of Methanol. Our Technical Service people have been aware that some Corporations use Methanol as an extractent in food processing, but we have no direct informa tion relative to this particular application. We regret that we cannot be of more assistance to you, or the MCA Committee, but on behalf of Reichhold Chemicals we would be interested in receiving any of the technological data that might result from your efforts with other producers.
