Please see the attached letter from Farm Bureau regarding withdrawal from participation in the MAFWA Mid-America Monarch Conservation Strategy. Following lengthy discussions, we have concerns about the Agriculture/Private Working Lands Technical Work Group and its
recommendations concerning changes to farm program policy in the Farm Bill.
We thank you for your time and the offer of participation. We hope our organizations can continue to inform each other as we work to promote monarch conservation.
