FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Km YORK, AUGUST 13, 1962 - William Knust, former adver tising manager at National Lead Company, died suddenly at his home in Short Hills, New Jersey on August 12. He was 69 years old. Mr. Knust began his company career in 1909 as a clerk in the advertising department and worked his way through every division of the department. He was named manager of the department in 1927* Mr. Knust was one of the organizers and the second president of Controlled Circulation Audit, Inc., serving from 1932 to 193^* At the time of his retirement in 1953 he had completed 44 years of service with National Lead Company. Surviving are'his wife, Mrs. Marietta Knust; a daughter, Mrs. A. W. Calder; three sisters, Mrs. T. C. Ould, Miss Henrietta Knust and Miss May Knust, and three grandchildren. N12721 0000-NLI-000024748
