Complying with your request, we shall immediately draw the attention of Rational and Local Associations connected with the Construction IndustJFjr to the resolution and explanatory remarks, which are enclosed with your letter. We are at once communicating with these associations in order to obtain with the least possible delay their fullest cooperation in furnishing your Committee with iifcnaation as to the shortage of housing and industrial construction, whether or pot the shortage is increasing or decreasing, the effect of the shortage on industry and public welfare, and remedial measures which have been taken Effecting the various localities or industries, together with the views of these associations as to the merits of such measures. We are asking each Association to appoint a Committee, which as the representative of its Association, will stand in readiness to do everything possible to facilitate and make effective the work f your Committee, and also to furnish to you the names of the President and Committee Chairmen.
