There is a concern that hydrogen will be formed during the oxyacetylene cutting operation from scale and deposit inside the tank. Make sure a nitrogen purge is initiated during the cutting operation. 2. Check with Mark Bartel concerning the use of Viton with Epichlorohydrin. Our corrosion resistance tables indicate incompatibility. 3. Run an ARC test on the contents of DV-1100. 4. Make sure elastomers and seals in rail car are compatible with the materials in DV-1100.
