He q u it work May 27, 1938 a f t e r having been employed a s a crane o p e ra to r a t th e E a g le -P ic h e r Lead Company f o r a number o f y e a r s . A ccording to th e r e p o r ts o f th e employer t h i s man had no symptoma o f le a d p o iso n in g a t th e tim e o f h i s d is c h a rg e . He had been f r e q u e n tly examined by th e company p h y s ic ia n , D r. Matuska, who s t a t e s t h a t h is l a s t exam ination was made on May 19 a t which tim e th e r e were no co m p lain ts o f p h y s ic a l d i s a b i l
