Xt pointed out that the cars ere in need of repair and in coo case it takes two men to move the ear. Subject: Tbs Union eonplained of bonus earnings going down in -2t Aetien: Management pointed out that the production rate has abown a drop for the past three aenths and this affects aoet bonus plans in the production and finishing areas. Xt is a natter of standard perforaanee and aetual performance and if the standard perforaanee is low bonus, earnings will be low. 5. Action: Management stated that a survey will be conducted to determine what iteas aost of the people would like to have available. 6. Subject: The Union pointed out the disagreeable condition of exhaust fuaes from the trucks whan loading at the scrap dock (#2 line). Action: Manageaent has set up a program with the truck drivers which will correct this condition. The drivers have been instructed to close the door when they are loading the truck and this procedure will prevent the exhaust fuaes teem ocedng into the plant. 8. Subject: The Union asked what is being done to provide fans* roof ventilators and louvers in areas where needed. Action: Management stated that this program is progressing and the intention is to provide the best conditions possible within reason. 9. Subject: The union asked why senior sen are not pernitted to transfer to jobs to fill in teaporaxy openings.. Action: Manageaent stated that temporary openings are being filled with consideration to efficient operation* good aanagement practice and seniority.
