Leirn why this is important This email originated from outside of the Department of Transportation (DOT). We had a management program analyst who staffed the Fort Pierce airport, and the Vero Beach airport, terminated on Friday night at 11:xx pm. What's problematic is that she took care of Air Traffic Controllers Medical Clearances, Time and Attendance, training etc. She was also trained on Staffing Workbook, purchasing for the government and many other support duties that ATC needs. Given she was on a probationary hiring status, she received the following in her email: "DOTFAAfinds, that based on your performance you have not demonstrated that yourfurther employment at the DOT FAA would be in the public interest. For this reason, the DOT FAA is removingyoufrom your position with DOTFAA and thefederal civil service effective today" Just curious, how are these employees being evaluated, because our ATCs in the district said this person only had stellar performance reviews and did a job critical to their operations.
