I see that we are largely in agreement, certainly on the major points. I was particularly interested in your promise to discuss the analysis of lead in blood with your analytical group. I would welcome any suggestions they might have with respect to the analyses of lead in blood on the smallest samples consistent with accuracy and precision. I men tioned a study that we propose to undertake. As part of this study, I fear we will have to do at least a few analyses of lead in hair. I have designed the study in such a way that we can compare lead in hair, ALA, blood lead and EDTA mobilization simultaneously in a small group of patients. I am hopeful thatiuseful data may come from this. My greatest interest, however, is in a procedure for lead in blood on a minimal amount of blood.
