The enclosed "Asbestos Toxicology Report" explains sane of the facts concerning
handling of asbestos. Oar CALIDRIA Resio-Crede 144 Asbestos is neerly pure
chrysotlle asbestos. A different type, known as crecidollte, is believed by
many authorities to be implicated in censing assotbelione and lung cancer. Our
asbestos products do not contain crocidolite, Which la a product of South Africa.
A connection between chrysotlle asbestos and mesothelioma or lung cancar has hoi
been clearly determined.

The Federal Government recently promulgated new occupational health standards
under the Wslah-Beeiey Act, applying to aoi*e, dust, gases, etc. .'The as*
standards were published In the Federal Register, Vol. 34, Mo. 12, Jen. 17,
1969. They apply to firms doing business with the Federal Government, and if
your company sella directly to a federal Agency, It nay bo well to refer to
