RED TOP* Bondi A liquid bonding agent--plaster For use on interior surfaces of monolithic concrete ceilings, walls, beams, columns of Portland Cement, Gypsum and/or other non-glaze masonry surfaces where a positive bond is desired for application of Portland Cement, Gypsum or Gypsum-Gauged Lime Plasters. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface to be covered must be structurally sound and clean, and free of dirt, dust, grease, wax, oil or other unsound surface conditions. RED TOP Plaster Bond is not a waterproofing agent, and should not be applied where constant water pressure or wetting is present. MIXING: Stir contents thoroughly before using. Do not add water, except when material is to be spray applied. When spray applied, up to 10 oz. of clean water per gallon of Plaster Bond may be added. Dilution with water, when brush or roller applied, will reduce bond. APPLICATION: Apply with brush, roller, or commercial spray equipment in a thin continuous film. Apply when temperatures are 50 degrees F. or above. Base coat plasters or finish coats may be applied when film is slightly tacky, or up to 14 days after application of RED TOP Plaster Bond, providing the film has remained clean and in dry condition. Clean up splatters, spills, overspray with warm water immediately. STORAGE: Protect from freezing. If frozen, thow without applying direct heat, then remix to smooth consistency, straining out any lumps prior to use. CARE OF EQUIPMENT: Wash application equipment in warm water immediately after use. COVERAGE: One gallon will cover up to 450 sq. ft., depending on surface and method of ap plication. LIMITATION: When a gauged lime putty finish coat is applied directly to RED TOP Plaster Bond, a Type S or N Finish Lime must be used.
