I apologize for having to cancel, but was hoping we could reschedule for your next trip to DC or perhaps during one of our upcoming trips to Texas. I would offer a different day next week, but as I mentioned below, he will be flying out early Wednesday morning for the remainder of the week. Do you have another trip to DC planned? AG Paxton respectfully requests a meeting with EPA Administrator Pruitt while he is in Washington DC, October 3 - 6. The topic of the meeting would be federal regulatory reform, an issue that impacts numerous cases that Texas is currently litigating. In May, AG Paxton led a 16-state coalition in calling on the Trump Administration to take action in accordance with two principles - restoring the role of Congress and ensuring impartial adjudications. AG Paxton would like to share his perspective on the proper scope of federal administration agencies as well as some ideas for practical reforms.
