The laboratory herq, in Canada and at FIL have been working very hard to produce satisfactory produci;. Our need now is for full scale tests at the earliest possible moment of asbestos free products followed before the end of the year by "silica free" products. These tests must involve trials on various types of machinery and on various sizes of ingots. All tests must be fully documented and followed closely at all stages. It is therefore expected that every department who needs to be will becomt "involved" and put every effort into solving our pro blems. Bob Dzurilla and Don Butler are responsible for the program and ere ex pected to have a complete collation of the initial test data by 31 July.
