Based on tests conducted in Europe by Akzo, we found that, after properly triple rinsing the bottles with water, there is no danger in grinding the bottles. The residual organic peroxide levels in the polyethylene are normally below 5 ppm, even after about six months of storage. While the residual amounts may vary based on the type of organic peroxide, diluent, storage conditions, time in storage, etc., the 5 ppm level represents an upper value based on the findings of our safety lab. Based on data provided by Don Peterson, and our information, we estimate that we generate approximately 1,000,000 to 1,200,000 pounds of polyethylene packaging annually. Currently, this is almost ' entirely single trip packaging, and ends up as waste materials. Based on my notes, this wraps up my action items.
