LERIS* Dear Oscar, A short time ago, I wrote you conoerrlng; a health case -which was reported to us by the L'offord Oil Company in Birmingham, Alabama* Since that time, George Rosser, being, in Birmingham on other business, has been able to discuss this subject in greater detail with Wofford's Mr. Lord ana apparently, neither hr. Lord nor his Company is particularly dis turbed over the complaint. The claim which faces them has row been placed in the hands of a local lawyer who states there is no real justification in same. The reference bo lead poisoning has been traced to the diagnosis of a doctor in Selma, Alabama,and should this individual care to stress the handling of lead gasolines,'there may be some reason for us to follow the matter further and report our findings to Dr. Kehoe. In the meantime, however, we have suggested to M r * Lord that should this Doctor desire information re garding the affliction of his patient, it might bo in order to address such inquiry to our Dr* Kehoe who I am sure would be very pleased to offer suggestions and ad-sice. As the case now stands* there does not seen: to bo any great need for concern on our part- in fact, I am under the impression that it will soon be a closed matter.
