Paint Stripper article on Methylene Chloride
EPA press contact,
Today I reached out to Nahal Mogharabi, media liaison for Southern CA EPA. I spoke to Brent of the congressional EPA office and he said she would be the correct person to talk to.
Nahal just emailed me that this is a national topic and that I should communicate with you.
Recently, CBS News This Morning shared a proposed delay on a federal ban on a potentially deadly chemical found in common paint strippers. The EPA said the chemical poses an "unreasonable risk" and has been implicated in dozens of deaths.
This news coverage has brought significant concerns to consumers who rely on the EPA to provide guidance and safety on these type of commonly used DIY products.
I am covering this topic in the June issue and plan to have this be a feature article. I think it has serious consequences to all consumers.
Please call my cell phone below.
