Than!:, you for your inquiry concerning ICA "Cloth Tube" dust collectors. We are pleased to offer the following intermittent duty collector per your specificatica for service filtering asbestos dust at your chreveport, Louisiana plant.
Our proposal is:
ONE (1) ICA #2-800S\1 dust collector complete with 1600 sq. ft. effective filter area, and including:
A. 14 ga. paneli;:ed housing reinforced for 12" KG suction.
B. 12 ga. penalized hopper (pyramid type) with 15"DIA flanged inlet with baffle, and 12" manual slide gate for dust dis charge.
C. Electric shaker mechanism with exterior 3/4 E? TEKV motor drive and guard.
D. 96 - ICA "Polybrade" (50% cotton, 50% dacron) filter tubes, nominal size 6" Dia. x 134" long.
E. Quick opening housing access door, internal tube service walkway.
F. Service access platform, railed, with access ladder.
G. Structural steel supports providing 4r-0" clear under hopper discharge gate.

1. Dual function relay timer. 2. Fusible fan and shaker starters 3. Unfused main disconnect. 4. Push buttons, pilot lights. 5. 460/120 V. transformer. 6. Manual shaker overide for testing. 7. Relays, etc as required, and prewiring to terminal
strips. The electro-mechanical timer has the following functions: A. Manual stop of fan. B. Adjustable null period (0-5 min) to allow fan rotation
to stop. C. Adjustable (0-5 rain) shake period. D. Reset to allow manual restart of fan. K. Factory assembly into major components; housing with tubes hung and adjusted, and shaker mechanism assembled, and hopper with inlet and gate. Supports, etc ship KD. L. One shop coat each primer and finish paint. Exceptions to specifications; 1. Standard "Polybrade" tubes are quoted which provide identical filter characteristics to the tubes specified, longer service life, and lower cost. 2. Automatic null period after shaker function has not been included in the timer. This function i's somewhat super fluous as the fan must be restarted manually in either case, and a predetermined null period does not substan tially improve equipment performance.

"CLOTH TUBE" FEATURES `
1. Panelized modular construction with bolted or welded construction available.
2. Wide range of available sizes and 3 available cleaning methods including units for intermit tent or continuous duty gives selection versa tility and system flexibility. Units available to handle 1500 CFM to 1,000,000+ CFM.
3. Solid construction and engineering experience provide lowest initial cost, efficient operation, low maintenance cost, and minimal attention.
4. Some of the design features the "cloth tube" filter incorporates are: Low energy require ments. high filtration efficiency under varying conditions, simple inspection and mainte nance, and even prolonged bag life by distribu tion of dirty gases over the entire filter area.
ICA manufactures necessary supporting com ponents such as fans, rotary seal valves, screw conveyors, butterfly valves, cyclone precleaners, and others. This assures proper mating and op eration of the entire system.
ICA's engineering experience offers customers complete turn-key system capabilities. "Turn-key" means ICA will handle your environmental control problems from design and selection of the proper equipment, submission of necessary plans to control agencies, to completion of erection and startup. This turn-key approach allows us to do your job better and provides you, the customer, with the best job possible.

HOW THE CLOTH TUBE FILTER WORKS
V As the particulate laden gas stream enters the plenum below the tube sheet, the heavier particles collect in the hopper. The very light particulate rises with the air and is collected by the filter cake formed on the filter tubes. Only the air itself passes through the fabric, and is exhausted at the top of the collector.

Designed for intermittent operation or extremely light dust loadings. This unit has a single compartment that must be shut down periodically for tube shaking. vI

FILTERING
CONTINUOUS DUTY OPERATIONS
Automatic Continuous Duty filters are multi-compartment filters. Cleaning cycle is actuated automatically one compartment at a time while the remaining compartments remain on-stream providing uninterrupted filtration.
AE -- Automatic-Electric utilizes an electric shaker assembly in each compartment. In addition, during cleaning cycles, an electrically controlled, solenoid operated air reversal valve on top of the compartment allows the air flow to be reversed. This combination of low velocity reverse air and gentle shaking effectively cleans the filter tubes.

CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. PROPOSAL - It is our purpose to furnish you the equipment as covered by this proposal and specifications at the prices 1 stated herein. All prices are firm and for acceptance within thirty (30) days from date of proposal. All the information I in this proposal is confidential and has been prepared for your use solely in considering the purchase of the equipment
described. Transmission of all or any part of this information to others or use by you for other purposes is unauthorized without our written consent.
Z. rewE OF PAYMENT - .Vet cash thirty (30) days after date of shipment, unless specified otherwise, subject to credit approval.
3. SHIPMENT - f.o.b. plant as per our proposal with machinery mounted on skids only, suitable for domestic shipment, unless otherwise specified. Shipping dates given therein are approximate only and are computed from time of receipt at our `lain Office of all details pertaining to the order essential to its proper execution, ife will not be liable for any delay
H in the performance of contracts and orders, or in the shipment and delivery of goods, or for any damage suffered by the buyer by reason of delay, when such delay is, directly or indirectly, caused by or in any manner arises from fires, floods, accidents, riots, war, Government interference, priorities, embargoes, strikes, shortage of labor, fuel, materials or supplies, inadequate transportation facilities or any other cause or causes (whether or not similar in nature to any of those hereinbefore specified) beyond our control. IE more than one shipment is made, each may be separately invoiced.
4. DELIVERY - All costs incident to the erection of the equipment in purchaser's plant shall be borne by the purchaser, unless otherwise specified. '.Aten delivery of material is extended beyond six (6) months from date of receipt of order, at your request, the price may bo adjusted to compensate for any increase in costs prevailing at time of shipment, or any storage charges accruing thereto. Any such adjustment hereunder shall be equal to any percentage adjustment in the company's published prices and applicable discounts from date of order to the date of shipment, but any increase hereunder
i shall not exceed 101 increase for shipments within twelve (1Z) months.
5. GUARANTEE - Within one (1) year of date of start-up, not to exceed eighteen (18) months from the date of shipment, whichever shall come first, of this equipment to the original purchaser, INDUSTRIAL CLEAN AIR will replace or repair any part or parts free of charge, f.o.b. our factory, provided our examination shows the item to be truly defective by reason of inferior materials or poor workmanship. The part or parts must have been used for the purpose as intended and in accordance with our instructions. No allowance will .be made for repairs or alterations not previously agreed to by our written consent.
This Guarantee does not cover damages resulting from misuse, neglect, alteration, or accident. 1 lators, controls and other purchased parts are warranted by their original manufacturers and such warranties will be carried out in accordance with the usual terms thereof. Filter bags carry no warranty as to service life, once placed into service.
Industrial Clean Air reserves the right to invoice for all charges incurred by reason of inferior materials or poor workmanship when repairs are made in the field at the customer's specific request.
6. SERVICE - Should service in the nature of installation, demonstration or repair of any equipment offered in this proposal, be requested beyond that specifically renticned as included in the quoted price, such service will be rendered at ICA's prevailing billing rates, plus travel and living expenses as may be applicable.
V J 7. PERFORMANCE - When performance of our equipment is based on data furnished by you, it should be understood that our
performance figures are estimates only, based on the best reliable engineering practice. The actual performance obtained by you may be influenced by any changes in conditions prevailing in your plant.
8. CLAII6 - Claims for loss or damage in transit are the responsibility of the consignee; however, we will lend every possible assistance. Any claims for shortages not covered by the cannon carrier, in order to receive consideration, mist be made within ten (10) days from date of delivery.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - Our liability on any claim of any kind, including negligence, for any loss or damage arising out of, connected with, or resulting from an order or from the performance, design, manufacture, sale, delivery, resale, installation, technical direction of installation, inspection, repair, operation or use of any equipment covered by or furnished under this order shall in no case exoeed the price allocable to the equipment or unit thereof which gives rise to the claim and shall terminate two (2) years after the completion of installation of the equipment.
In no event, whether as a result of breach of our warranty or alleged negligence, shall we be liable for special or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of profits or revenue, loss of the equipment or any associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of substitute equipment, facilities or services, domtime costs, or claims of customers of the purchaser for such damages.
10. CANCELLATION - Any orders placed for machinery and equipment as offered in this proposal shall not be subject to cancellation except with our consent, and then only upon tire following conditions:
Standard Equipment - (Defined as catalogued equipment ordinarily carried in stock.) When cancellation is accepted we reserve the right to make a cancellation charge up to ZSt of the purchase price.
Special Equipment - (Defined as equipment manufactured for special requirements and not catalogued or stocked as standard product.) Cancellation will be accepted upon payment of a percentage of the total special equipment price equal to the percentage of total work completed.
11. TAXES - Our proposal does not include Federal, State or Local Sales, Privilege, Use or other taxes of any kind applicable to the sale of the equipment involved. These taxes shall be paid by the purchaser or, in lieu thereof, the purchaser shall provide us with a tax exemption certificate acceptable to the proper taxing authority.
1Z.DRAWINGS S MANUALS - The price quoted therein includes three (3) sets of applicable drawing prints, or, one (1) set of suitable reproducible transparencies, also one (1) installation, operation and maintenance manual. Additional drawings or manuals will be furnished at a nominal charge.

'Services to be Furnished by Owner or Others
When installation o the equipment is to be performed by ICA,
the Owner or Others will, at it's (their) expense, and at such times
as may be required by ICA or it's subcontractors;
(a) Procure all necessary priorities, allocations and allotments for materials and operating equipment, and all licenses and permits, including building permits, required by governmental or regulatory authorities in connection with the supply, erection and operation of the ICA equipment. ICA shall obtain it's own license and permits for doing business.
(b) Furnish and install foundations in accordance with drawings and loading diagram provided by ICA.
(c) Furnish clear, level, solid ground of adequate size, adjacent to the site, for the unloading, moving and storage of materials and equipment.
(d) Furnish a railroad siding at grade within 100 yards of the site and allow to unload all materials and equipment therefrom.
(e) Furnish a parking area of adequate size adjacent to the site for the use of ICA's and it's subcontractors employees.
(f) Furnish and maintain a clear, solid roadway connecting the site with a main public highway.
(g) Keep construction site clear so as not to hamper or delay ICA's installation.
(h) Furnish, for construction and operating purposes, water, air and electricity, all in sufficient quantities and of proper character.
(i) Furnish all materials and equipment and do all work not specifically included in ICA's proposal.
(j) Furnish all utilities in sufficient quantities and of the proper character as and when required for the testing and operating of the' equipment.
(k) Furnish all personnel, materials, tools, and facilities required for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
