I wanted to take an opportunity to reach out to you today to invite you to speak at the 2018 SAE Government and Industry meeting here in Washington, DC. Each year SAE organizes this conference in conjunction with the Washington Auto Show to bring together though leaders from both government and industry to share ideas and collaborate on best practices. As an organizer on the panel for TSCA, I would personally like to extend you an invitation to speak on our panel on "Implementing new chemical regulations under LSCA." The event will take place on the morning of January 25, 2018 at the DC Convention Center.
Last year, Mark Rollins, Director for Water Enforcement (OCE) spoke to the group and Emma Lavoie (NCEA) has also given presentations in the past. We are happy to provide a letter of explanation for the approvals process. Further, I would like to note that all SAE conference sessions are off the record to create an opportunity for industry and the government to really understand the impacts of regulations on both sides.
The conference is free with your government ID and is here in Washington, DC. Additionally, SAE provides a free pass to the auto show if that is of interest to you.
