Sather - Safety Director - Aberdeen, MS Plant ' Subject September 14, 1978 VCM EXPOSURES - NEW VINYL CONTROL ROOM Per our telephone conversation on September 13, 1978, the following has been done to monitor and reduce Lead Operator overexposures in the new vinyl control room. 1. We have continued to follow the OSHA VCM Standard with rega monitoring. The results of August sampling have indicated a these exposures (one (1) in August vs eight (8) for July). This is most probably due to a change in wind patterns during the sampling riod. 2. Following each overexposure, employees are notified of same. In add the employee is required to explain what caused the overexposur* that the leak source be identified and repaired. 3.
