Citizens' Response to Biased Report

Tate,
Attached for your review is a fact sheet Citizens Energy developed in response to the article that appeared in today's Indy Star. Citizens just received the EWG report so we are still in the process of reviewing it.
First and foremost, I want you to know that the CITY OF INDIANAPOLIS' WATER SUPPLY IS SAFE. Water provided by Citizens Energy meets rigorous federal public health standards set forth by the Safe Drinking Water Act.
Second, EWG is an advocacy organization that believes federal drinking water standards are outdated. This is a biased report that applies far more stringent targets than the Safe Drinking Water Act.
Again, we just received the report and will be happy to update you once we have sufficient time to review it. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
RH
