I hare reviewed them, and find no evidence of aobestosis. At the request of the Insurance Company, I am sending them on to Dr. Pendergrass so that he too may file on opinion in this case. Tour calling our attention to the films of Dawson Bhodos is very much appreciated. Tou will doubtless remember that there was a very definite question of chronic constrictive peri-carditis in this man's case, and some of us became very much interested in him. At our insistance he went to see Dr. Claude Dock in Cleveland, taking all of his records with him. After considerable study Dr. Beck wrote mo at great length about this veiy Interesting man, and they concluded, especially from thoir kyaographic studies that he did not have chronic adhesive peri carditis. Hr. Hhodes films inadvertently were placed in our files. Ve are sending them t*o you today under separate cover* Tou are to' be very much congratulated upon the excellent work you have done with the U.S.Asbestos Co. I have seen quite a few of the workman who tell me that a groat deal of money has been eepnt in koeping down the dust. Vo have also been privileged to x-ray the chests,of the mon before they have been employed by the Company. Some of this is the result of the recent Compensation Act in Pennsylvania. This pre-employment study of the chests has been very fruitful, and in the course of years will pay large dividends to the Company, I am sure* Permit me to again express my appreciation to you for your kind offices, and wish you the Season's Greetings.
