In summary, after June 11, 1978, distributors and retailers will be prohibited from selling, coffering for sale, or distributing any of the above mentioned materials no matter when manufactured or initially introduced into Commerce, to distributors, retailers, consumers, or to others for application in consumer environments. In all probability, Bondex Distributors and Dealers will, for the most part, have sold all asbestos-containing wall patching compounds presently in their stocks before the June 11, 1978, deadline. Nonetheless, because -of the possi bility of improper stock rotation we are writing to call your attention to this deadline. For all practical purposes, if any Bondex Wall Patching Compounds, presently in stock, are sold prior to the June 11th deadline, there will be no difficulty with any improper materials remaining. All master shipping cartons of asbestos free joint cements and water putty are so designated. All reformulated Resurfo Spackling Compound shows the designa tion zero after our code number on shipping carton.
