IHTROPUGYXCB Hf*57W3 (5^tro-2-aaino^BniQle -* BCR, wmgansss) Has developed in the
1aboratoxy to aid in the reduction of ths reactivity of RT-58&.B (K-2292 or Rf-551*D (A) ) % blending 10 ports of Rf*571^D with 90 parts of RT~56S-D. A seal* works development Was node and a satisfactory fora&s derived, (Let 9421) A plant trial was definitely warranted especially as orders had bssn filled with seni*
HT-571-0 was sst up on ths (0) process which has a 5 minute development

lot Oi.91.
(2) RT-57W> (C), 3D 55275 was set up as the current standard*
(3) R?-*571mD is not standardised as a flniehed product but is made Into a 10/90 blend with ths Rt->58RD standard and evaluated, for color and reactivity tnalkyd*
(4) the plant assumed supervision of manufacture of Rt-STWJ (C) an August 5* 1943,
ths plant lots were made on ths RT571<.D, lot 9324 process, the first was satisfactory but the seocmd was a "flopB batch at the and of the development* (A BflopB batch is one in which ths slurry has turned to a light red from a very dark, bluish material due to over developaent).
Following thin latter batch* the problem was temporarily returned to the laboratory and seal-works for a brief study on ths temperature of development. Reducing the development temperature to 15#? for 5 minutes gave satisfactory results in th aead-worfes (lot 9421} and 7 additional successful runs were made on this procedure in the plant* the last three were followed only nominally by researoh| the alant MMBMtftg w*wwndMiifer for testing wtutHna t-hese lots.
the lots were evaluated fcgr research in blends with Rt-580-D and the reaults are recorded in H.B. 1264* exp. 30* 5? and 62.
