BESTWALL HUMMER SYSTEM "A" This is an improvement of the oldest and simplest laminated wallboard con struction. Application is made over framed walls and ceilings. The first layer is nailed; the second layer is applied with adhesive and screws. A tapered edge board with a center taper is used on the ceiling. This system eliminates nail popping and joint beading and provides a perfect installation.
BESTWALL HUMMER SYSTEM "B" This system was developed to provide walls without frame or support of any material other than gypsum wallboard. Designed for interior non-load bearing partitions or for simple, self-furring, free-standing wall surfacing over masonry walls. The interior partition provides one hour fire resistance.
BESTWALL HUMMER SYSTEM UC" A factory-fabricated narrow panel of several layers of gypsum board, de signed for non-load bearing walls where joints are left unfinished and for movable partition construction. Special edges give an attractive paneled effect. The panel can be erected, trimmed and painted in one day because there are no nails in the surface or joints to be treated.
BESTWALL HUMMER SYSTEM "D" This application (Strip Lamination) is designed to prevent joint beading and delayed shrinkage and to eliminate nail "popping" at lowest cost, by putting all nails and fastenings under joint system tapes and trim. This system is less expensive than a standard two-layer application, yet the finished wall closely matches a complete double layer installation in performance.
