Dicciam* to the position of Manager, Gardner Cryogenics Department, reporting to me. Nance is replacing Bob Buchanan who will be assuming a new assignment to be announced later. The Gardner Cryogenics Department, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is a standalone unit of PSG's Equipment & Technology Licensing Division. Gardner produces and markets specialized helium and hydrogen distribution equipment to both Internal and external customers on a worldwide basis. The following Individuals will report directly to Nance: Jerry Conville - Sales and Marketing Bill Dellicker - QA and Planning Jack Doyle - Facilities Jerry Dreisbach - Purchasing Mike Garger - Manufacturing Alex Varghese - Engineering Nance joined Air Products in 1977 as a process engineer in Industrial Chemicals Technology, where she progressed through a series of positions of increasing responsibility. In 1980 she joined Houdry as Section Manager of the Catalysis Lab in Linwood, Pennsylvania. The following year she was named Director of Research and Development for PSG. Nance holds degrees in chemical engineering from Villanova CBS). University of Virginia (MS), and University of Pennsylvania (PhD). Mather In order to meet our commitment to quality and productivity, and to ensure maximum alignment with the objectives of our Operating Group and Corporate Staff customers, the MIS organization is being restructured. Reporting directly to me will be Systems Development and Services; Computing Services; Emerging Technologies; Planning, Productivity and Quality; and Controller. The Group MIS organizations and Europe will continue to report functionally to me. Systems Development and Services will combine Business Information Systems, Engineering and Scientific Systems, Management Sciences, and Data Resource Management into one group. Tom Collins has returned from Denver to manage this organization. Computing Services will continue to be responsible for the day-to-day operation and technical support of the corporate data center, expand its role in the management of distributed computing services and will continue to be managed by Roger Bast. Emerging Technologies will retain its responsibilities for managing the assimilation of new information technology into the corporation. Corporate Telecommunications Planning and Knowledge-Based Systems will be consolidated into this function which will continue to be managed by Ray Moving. MIS Long Range Planning and the development of the MIS Productivity and Quality Program will be led by Bill Seibel. These functions are being consolidated in order to focus on opportunities for strategic business interests and to complement our overall quality programs In each of the business areas.
