The equipment is approximately 40 years old. Removal of the insulation is scheduled to start on October 8, 1988, with completion on November 21, 1988. All asbestos containing material will be removed using negative pressure enclosure. The insulation will be sealed in properly labeled impermeable plastic bags prior to removal from the area. Procedures to be employed during removal, clean-up, and disposal will conform to the requirements in 40 CFR 61.147 and 61.152.
