Byron, Jennifer Thompson and I worked together at Interior and then at the OFC; she gave me your contact information. She tells me you are familiar with Pebble and the controversies around the mine. I divide my time between Holland & Hart's Anchorage and D.C. offices. Denver based Armstrong with partner Repsol recently announced a major North Slope discovery on state lands that could extend the life of the TAPS pipeline for years. Me Ed Kerr of Armstrong will be in D.C. this week and would like to brief you about the discovery and development plans, which will require some wetlands disturbance. FYI, less than 0.5% of Alaska's wetlands have been disturbed since statehood. I'm writing to request a meeting with you for Mr Kerr either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. Our Anchorage partner, Kyle Parker, will be with Ed. You can reach me by email at DPearce@hollandhart.com or on my cell at 907.230.8558. I apologize for the short notice.
