SPI-24119 2 He called upon Jerome Heckman > Esq*, SPI Counsel to give background inforaation regarding this entire situation. Mr. Heckman explained in some detail the background information which lead up to the filing of the Impact statement and the EPA reply. He explained how we planned to proceed in the future and the attendees unanimously concurred in the approach. He noted somewhat disturbingly that In the past it has been our policy not to attack another material stating they are ecologically harmful, unfortunately the Glass Container Manufacturers Institute has seen fit to do so In their comments filed with the BAFT. The Staff Administrator stated that he has a copy of the.GCKI comments which he will mall to all attendees tomorrow. A number of assignments were made during the meeting and additional information will be gathered by those individuals who accepted the assignment and forward It to the counsel.
