Jeff, a question has come up about whether Monsanto still pays dues to ACC? Molly believes we still pay them and you guys are still active. Dan Goldstein suggests we don't have a membership. This is an issue because ACC is helping to manage the reaction to a book scheduled to be published August 12 called Poisoned Profits: The Toxic Assault on Our Children, written by former NY Times enviro editor Philip Shabecoff and his wife, Alice. Thesis is a broad number of chemicals are harming our children. So far, ACC has been very helpful in this and will probably respond to the broad questions, along with CropLife International. Monsanto is listed as a "perpetrator." PCB's and Anniston, Agent Orange, dioxins, rBST, Roundup and Lasso are mentioned, as well as aspartame. We're trying to coordinate with ACC and CropLife.
