The silicone rubber compound is fungus inert, and resistant to most dilute acids, al kalis and solvents; and is non-corrosive to metals. Dielectric strength re mains constant throughout the entire temperature range and it demonstrates excellent resistance to corona and dielec tric fatigue. Ozone re sistance, especially at high altitudes, is out standing. ALL-TEMP is unaffect ed by high humidities, having a low moisture absorption rate. Me chanical and abrasion resiliency make it ideal for use in any type of climate, in in terior or exterior applications. It resists even direct flame for brief periods of time and, when ex posed for longer pe riods, burns slowly with a resultant nonconductive ash. it does not emit toxic fumes when sub jected to elevated temperatures. INTRODUCTION ALL-TEMP silicone rubber insulated wire and cable products manufactured by Coleman offer wide spread opportunities for improved performance and increased operating longevity in numerous com mercial applications. Silicone rubber combines the best features of inorganic silicone and oxygen with organic hydrocarbon structural units. In com parison; with other types of rubber (both natural and synthetic) and most thermo-plastic insulations, ALL-TEMP is vastly superior. It provides the best physical and electrical properties for maintaining circuit integrity while resisting the normally damag ing effects of high heat, extreme cold, moisture, most oils, fuels, solvents and chemicals. Dielectric strength remains constant throughout a wide temperature range and fatigue strength under continuous stress is high. ALL-TEMP is odorless, tasteless, non-corrosive to metals and non-adhesive.
