We came to the conclusion that when it comes to information related to the EFSA-recommendation to limit PFAS-exposure, it would be better if you would share your information and discuss the results with EFSA itself. In the Netherlands, we have accepted the recommendation and it would not be appropriate to reopen the discussions on this from our side. The second element is of course work related to the restriction on PFAS. At this stage, the scientific agencies of the five countries involved are finalizing the final editorial issues before sending it to the EU Chemicals Agency in January so this is not the moment to receive and evaluate new information. However, shortly after January, there will be a public consultation of 6 months so that will provide ample time to send in additional information that has not been shared before in the earlier consultation rounds. So | hope you understand that at this moment, we thank for your offer to come and visit but still want to decline as we consider this is not the appropriate moment for such a discussion.
