The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee has scheduled a September hearing for President Donald Trump's next two FERC nominees, along with an official for the Interior Department.
The hearing for FERC nominees Rich Glick, a Democrat, and Kevin McIntyre, Trump's pick for the agency's chairmanship, has been set for Sept. 7 at 10 a.m.
Joseph Balash's nomination to be Interior assistant secretary for Land and Minerals Management will also testify at the hearing.
WHAT'S NEXT: Lawmakers in the Senate are negotiating a package of nominees to be confirmed before the recess, which may including two pending FERC nominees Neil Chatterjee and Rob Powelson, who have already cleared the energy committee.
