Document 1 - Attachment 2 I:) Meeting / Tomorrow EPRI 2025 Summer Seminar Presenter Know Before You Go Overview This document provides guidance on everything you need to know as a presenter for t he 2025 Summer Seminar. This information w ill be covered in rehea rsal, but it is high ly recommended t hat you take the time to read this in advance. Please make sure you read this document if you are not attending rehearsal. Housekeeping Checking in Please be ready to go about 30 minutes before it is your slated time to speak. Check-in at the Commodore Ba llroom foyer and a Meeting Tomorrow AV member w ill bring you to the Green Room, behind the stage inside the ballroom. Green Room Area Once you are in the green room, you w ill meet with our audio technician and st age manager. They wil l get you mic'd up with a wireless lava lier or give you a hand held m ic if that is your preference. You w ill be cued up by the stage manager when it is time to enter. For stand-and-deliver (solo) presenters, you w ill be entering Stage Right. There is an elevated smal l circle stage plat form that you w il l stand on. For moderators and panelists, you will be entering Stage Left, on the side with the chairs and tables. Our stage manager w ill line you up in the correct order to be seated before you are released. Presenter Resources Speaker timer Located on the floor, facing you on stage is a speaker t imer. Please use this as a gu ide so you know roughly how much time you have left in your presentation. If you go over time, the t imer wi ll hit 00:00. Do not worry, the t imer is si lent and wi ll not make a noise, but please be m indfu l of your time as this is a stacked schedu le. Downstage monitors There are three large downstage monitors. Please use these as a guide. They wi ll display your slides, notes, and Q&A/polling (if applicable). Wireless remote clicker You w ill be given a wi reless remote clicker to advance your own slides. Handling Live Q&A We will not take questions after stand-and-deliver presentations or the Keynote Fireside Chat. We have allotted around the last 10 minut es of each panel for live Q&A. Attendees have the ability to see all questions and 'upvote' questions. The most upvoted question w ill be answered live by Al and then the panelists will get a chance to respond. Following the Al quest ion, it is up to the moderator's d iscretion of which questions they will ask the panelists next. Each question that the moderator selects will be displayed for the panel on the confidence monitor. A reminder the clock wi ll be set for the full session amount, so any rema ining time is what is left for avai lable Q&A. If you are a moderator, please take the time to read t he Q&A process document. Leaving the stage Please exit the stage on the same side you entered. Walk back t o the Green Room and the audio technician will take your microphone. Wardrobe Recommendations Stick to wea ring warm and neutra l colors like g rays, pastels, and blues. Avoid small, busy patterns and hot colors (pink, green, yellow, orange). Sma ll patterns and hot colors don't always look great on c a m e ra. Dress to wear a lava lier m ic if that is you r preference of m icrophone. Button up shirts and pants or dress w ith a belt are the best options. Avoid si lky, f lowy materials. Avoid jewelry or neck scarves. Large necklaces and dangling earrings can cause noise interference w ith the m icrophone. For panel presenters: consider that you w ill be sitting up on a stage in a low chair. Wearing pants or long skirts/ dresses are best for this seating setup.
