R. L. Stuart__________________ May 16, 1977 ELECTRICAL TRACING SURVEY

In February a SHAC notice was issued highlighting a potential problem with "MI" electrical tracing cable. This cable very closely resembles copper tubing and if inadvertently cut it could expose an employee to as much as 480 v. A much more preferred installation is Chemelex Cable which resembles TV antenna cable.
To determine the extent of the "MI" cable hazard, SHAC is requesting information from across the plant. To assist us with this please complete the torm oeiow anq^-return it to me by June 10.
