Dear Doug:
The memo to Bedros attached is self-explanatory, however, since a great deal of this work was done, as regards Bondex Powder Products and Joint Cement, at St. Louis, any records or any recollections you have in this regard would also be appreciated.
Cordially yours,
JKN/zje

Mr. Ibrahim Bedros BONDEX INTERNATIONAL CANADA LTD. P.O. Box 10 Anjou, Quebec H1K 4G5
Dear Ibrahim:
He may very well have done this before, but aa a result of a most recent research and development organizational meeting here in Medina, it was requested again that every company that has done any experimental work on the elimination of asbestos not only from roof coatings but in the case of Bondex from any of our products that we provide a report of any such experiments by products which potential substitutes did not work and why and which, if any, substitutes finally did work in reformulations where asbestos was eliminated.
Please work this up for me on any such products on which you have been involved going into detail on the specific substitutions and why they did not work and forward to ray attention earliest possible. I will make copy here for our records and forward 3ame to Larry Weltman at Alox for his review.
Cordially yours,
BONDEX INTERNATIONAL, INC.

Dear Doug:
Attached, for your reference copy of a November 30th letter to Ibrahim Bedros of which you also received a copy at that tine.
You will remember I indicated that some of the work was done as regards Bondex Powder and Join# Cement at St. Louis so any records or recollections that-you have in this regard will also be appreciated.
If we have no written records of the testing and experimentation that was done to eliminate asbestos from our formulas just give me a note t& that effect. I'll need this data by the end of the month. Thanks.
Cordially yours,
JKN/rje
