Mild hyperinflation is seen with flattened diaphragms and widened intercostal spaces. The heart is normal in size. There are no signs ofcongestive heart Mure. The pulmonary artery segments appear normal. Multiple calcified and non-calcified nodules are seen involving all lung fields. These most likely represent residuals ofeither chicken pox, pneumonia or histoplasmosis pneumonia. The bony thorax appears normal. The rest ofthe examination is normal IMPRESSION: The presence of interstitial changes ofthis type and distribution is consistent with the^diagnosis ofasbestosis in the appropriate clinical setting.
