Dear Mr. Bovdltch:
In reference to yours of April 22, I have
been, delayed in responding to your earlier communlca-
tion of March 18 on* account' of extreme pressure at
thla season in my schedule. In fact I have thus
far been able to give but superficial attention to
Gardner's material and I am forced to delay a vhile j
longer on aocount of various continuing pressures

through May.
Beferring to your Maroh 18 letter, I had already* read the artlole by ling and Clegg published
in IH8USTHIAL ETGIENE DIGEST of February, 1947, and have a oopy of it.
perhaps you.had better delay consideration
of my particlestlon in the September 29 Symposium
until it is clearer that I could properly do so.
|
If your program must be made before that is determined,
probably I had better be left out, particularly since
that conflicts vlth our opening here anyhow.
Hoping that I may be able to give some, more definite expression about my prospects and with best
regards, I an
Sincerely yours,
KKL:kbp.
