The environmental closure was reported in February 1989, which is summarized below. Disposal of each item was reviewed and approved by the Texas Water Commission (TWC). The final removal was completed in January 1989. Some small quantities remain in the Chemical Lab and the main office. These were encapsulated to preclude further exposure.
