Sergent, 725 August 17, 1987 ,ni ..g Qc'u'- m&T$ - HS&EA Industrial Hygiene Asbestos Exposure Monitoring Attached are the results of the asbestos exposure monitoring performed on J. A. Ingram on July 8, 1987. He was monitored while pulling computer wire above ceiling tile and through pipe chases in Building 770. He was equipped with a Willson R12A Half-face HEPA Filter respirator. (Please note that he did not remove the ceiling tile. The tile was removed by the carpenters.) The exposure monitoring results indicate that the levels were well below the 0.1 fiber/cc Action Level, established by OSHA for an 8-hour work day (TWAg). However these emloyees are required to wear the respiratory equipment, as mentioned above, whenever doing this job until enough data is collected to indicate that an exposure problem does not exist. Please notify J. A. Ingram of his exposure monitoring results as soon as possible. Please have him sign and date this report and return to M. A. Patel at Building 701-330.
