Danny, Ashley, and Amanda: I just wanted to send you a quick note thanking you and the team for hosting the Annual WGA Breakfast Meeting with Cabinet Officials on February 22, and for getting the Secretary there. I know it's not easy to convince a Cabinet official to go to an event at 8:00 am on a Saturday, even when it's at his own office, so we very much appreciate all your efforts on the Governors' and WGA's behalf. One item I wanted to follow up on is the information on WGA's upcoming Annual Meeting. That meeting will be taking place from June 23 - 25 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As part of the programming for the event, the Governors invite a number of Cabinet Officials, including the Secretary of the Interior, to give a keynote address. We will be following up soon with an official invitation from the Governors for your boss to join them in Santa Fe. In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions about the Annual Meeting. Finally, please keep WGA in mind as a resource when having conversations around, or when moving, policy issues that affect the West.
