Glad to hear that this could be executed this summer and that the Division and WV DOT team are working this. Please keep us updated and shout if there is anything we can do to support the resolution on this. The other grant that has popped is the FY23 BIP Large grant for Market Street Bridge to WVDOT and Ohio DOT. Could you please check in on the timing for a grant agreement for this project? The Coalfields Expressway FY22 RURAL grant award does not have an executed grant agreement currently. The Division Office has been working with the grant program office and the WVDOT-Department of Highways to advance the project through the NEPA and grant agreement processes. The anticipated grant agreement execution date is July 2025. The Division is working to get more information this week and understand their timing/specifics to deliver the project through to an executed grant agreement and to federally obligate. I know Hannah is working on your requested briefing but I didn't want you to have to wait for this information. Hi Trish, We have a list of pending grants from WVDOT, but are still working to understand the non-DOT sponsored projects impacted by the grant review. Understanding that there is now a written guidance regarding the review process, we would still appreciate understanding what WV grants are implicated. Please share anything you can. On the WVDOT pending grants, we do have the RURAL Grant for 2022 to the Coalfields Expressway for $25 million. Their grant agreement is final, but they are awaiting approval to obligate funds. In its final year of availability, we would ask that you are mindful of this and other grants with funds on the verge of lapsing. I know my colleagues have requested a four corner briefing on the grants review. In that it meeting would be helpful to cover how the Department will prioritize project reviews and ensure funds do not lapse.
