Diamines Yield Improvement Program - Carlos Lores
Phenylenediamines yields have been improved an average of 4%. An additional 2-3% improvement is expected. The value of the program is $800M to $1400M/yr.
4,4'-Oxydianiline Pilot Plant Program - Aldo Morell
Pilot plant demonstration of expansion routes is underway on a tight schedule. Program will save $3000M in direct invest ment and $3400M/yr. in operating savings.
Hexachloroacetone Distillation - K. K. Lin
Distillation capacity has been doubled with major new investment postponed beyond five years.
"Tyzor" Organic Titanates Expansion - Bruno Muzzi
Program for_basic data development for 50% expansion, 4M lbs./yr. to 6M Ibs./yr., with minimum new investment.
Mononitrotoluenes Cost Reduction - Carl Chen
R&D cost reduction effort in Isomer Separation Facilities as part of overall, major effort in mononitrotoluenes business.
New Reduction Catalyst Concepts - Karl Cossaboon
