FRICTION PRODUCTS GROUP Winchester

Mr. R.A. Pearce Mahwah Office
SUBJECT: Dow Corning Lubolid
I have used both Q5-7365 and Q5-7375 in my model formula in place of ABD-96 and note the following.
Q5-7365 - A rising coefficient of friction with temperature
and instant to slightly over-recovery on fades. 1% times
better wear on thickness loss. Weight loss slightly greater.
Hot friction .433.
EF
Q5-7375 - Almost the same as above. Slightly lower hot friction .414. Best FAST curve. EF
Baseline - Also an EF with the normal friction, in all cases, about the same. The baseline hot friction is only
374
