PJV-1105-80 PLAINTIFF'S EXHIBIT CEL-736 In order to provide more focal direction, coordination and management, the related but currently separated functions of safety, industrial hygiene and environmental maintenance will be consolidated into a single function. This consolidation will occur at each CCC location, including the Tech Center. At the Tech Center, the consolidation will be effective July 1, 1980. The consolidated function will locate in the Administration Department and will include employee safety, fire protection, facility security, medical surveillance, industrial hygiene and most of environmental maintenance. Priority pollutants will remain within the Analytical Services Department. Medical insurance benefit claims will remain within the Industrial Relations Department. To manage the new function, a new position, Manager, Safety, Health, and Environment, is being established at the Plants and Tech Center. The Manager, Safety, Health and Environment will report to the Plant Manager at the manu- ~ facturing locations and to the Manager, Facilities and Administration at the Tech Center. Concurrently, the following appointments as Manager, Safety, Health and Environment are announced: Bay City: Bishop: Clear Lake: Joe Schaefer from Coordinator/Industrial Hygiene, Toxicology & Environment Bill Meyer from Lab Superintendent Jerry Dun from Lab Superintendent Pampa and Tech Center appointments are pending and will be announced later. At the Tech Center, the new function will be structured as follows: Mgr., Facilities & Administration (P. J.
